Very soon could be changed the time schedule of the discos and night clubs on Cyprus. Now it operates till 3.30 am (in Ayia napa or Protaras till 6.00 am.)
In conformity with the new approved regulation, discos and night clubs will be closed at 3.00 am and restaurants at 2.00 am. This new regulation should be approved by the Cabinet Council.
After that this document will be transmitted to the Cyprus Parliament. Furthermore regarding the new regulation, there will be restrictions for the persons up to 17 years old. It will be strictly prohibited to sell alcoholic beverages to young people and also no access for them to discos and night clubs. Those persons who will infringe this regulation will be exposed to arrest or prison confinement.
Cyprus is considered to be the second Ibiza because of its numerous discos and night clubs, attracting numerous young persons. And the new approved regulation will not make happy the adventure founders.
This regulation also will affect the tourist flow, including the young travelers who
rented cyprus villas in this area. In such a way most of the travelers will depart to the North of the Cyprus, where is allowed everything without any restrictions.
